Student of the Month Spotlight
November’s Student of the Month is new to the Top Hat family. Upon joining the studio this fall, she immediately immersed herself in classes. She attends Hip-Hop, Ballet, and Pre-Bronze Ballroom & Latin. Her love of dance is obvious every time she steps onto the floor. Please meet November’s Student of the Month…Bryn Conlan.
Bryn came to Top Hat because of our resident Hip-Hop teacher, Ryan Stauffer. Having 6 years of dance training under her feet, this fall Bryn was looking for a new dance studio. Her mother found Top Hat’s website and noticed that Ryan was a staff member. Ryan had been one of Bryn’s favorite teachers in the past and she was eager to begin classes with him again.
As one might guess, Hip-Hop is her favorite style of dance but she has been trying other dance styles since coming to Top Hat. It was the television show “Dancing with the Stars” that inspired Bryn to pursue Ballroom & Latin dancing. Bryn says she is really 
enjoying the Pre-Bronze class and the challenge of learning completely different dance techniques. Bryn also commented that she has learned more from Ginny’s Ballet class then she ever did at any of her other ballet classes.
When asked what is her favorite aspect of Top Hat, Bryn said without hesitation, the teachers! Dancing is the thing she enjoys most in life and now due vastly to Ryan, Jameson, & Ginny!
Bryn is currently in 8th grade at Poquessing Middle School. She is a diligent student and is also involved in the school’s choir. In the future, Bryn would like to attend the University of the Arts and become a professional dancer. She aspires to one day use her talent to dance on Broadway.
In the 3 short months Bryn has become an enthusiastic part of the studio and we are thrilled to have her as part of the Top Hat family!
