"SPECIAL NEEDS" MUSIC CLASS
In this class, we will be making music, singing, drumming, learning about different instruments, and so much more. This class is dedicated to cultivating a supporting, welcoming, and inclusive environment to help participants learn about the arts, gain confidence, build friendships, and have fun! Attendees will work each week in small and large groups to achieve all of these goals.
Classes are for students 15 and over every Wednesday at 5:00 pm. All classes are $15.00 per person or 6-classes for $75.00.
Alyssa Gerold
Alyssa Gerold is a Music Educator at A Step Up Academy with a background in music direction and special education. She is a graduate of Temple University with a B.M. in Music Education, concentrating in classical guitar. Currently, she is the Music Director at St. Hubert, Father Judge, and Saint David’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, and Vocal Director at Holy Ghost Prep. She also founded and runs a music program for students with special needs every summer and is the Social Media/Zoom Coordinator for the nonprofit Athletes Helping Athletes.
